Optimal route planning is important especially in wintertime when due to slippery roads and changing light conditions the traffic is slowing. Furthermore that added together with fluctuation of pre-Christmas shopping and a larger number of delivery tasks with short deadlines. According to WebEye data the recently arrived winter weather slowed up by 6-12 % average speed of vehicles in mountains, in national level it caused 4-6 % slower traffic. Analysis of data is based on data collected by WebEye system tracking 40,000 vehicles in the region in the last three years.
